Custom Home Building

• Meeting – We will meet to discuss your ideas and budget, and uncover your exact needs and wants for your new home.
• Home Plans - You may bring your own plans or choose from my in stock designs. Together we can review the floor plans and elevations to make alterations to any plan to fit your needs.
• Contract - We will work out the details of your project and within one week I will produce a complete builder contract with a set contract price, specifications list, itemized cost breakdown, warrantee, and guaranteed timeline.
• Lot Staking – I can assist you in staking your home. Typically I have a surveyor clearly flag the building envelop to ensure we do not encroach on any setbacks.
• Permitting - I will obtain the building permit, plumbing and electrical permits and any other permits that are applicable to your particular location.
• Construction - I will be consistently on site to ensure work is completed correctly and on time. I will also keep you informed of progress and answer any questions you may have along the way. Depending on the size and complexity of your particular home the construction phase takes 3 to 6 months.
• Final Walk-Through - Once construction is complete we will walk through your new home together to be sure everything has been completed according to specifications. I will coordinate with the town to obtain the unconditional occupancy permit.
• Follow Up/Warranty - Once you have settled into your new home I will follow up to ensure everything is working properly in your new home. Rest assured that if there are any issues, they will be taken care of promptly. I provide a One Year Builder Warrantee as part of the contract.
